TL;DR
Direct Answer
OEM is the clearer route when the buyer already owns or supplies the design. ODM is appropriate when the buyer has a product direction but needs design and CAD development before sampling. Both routes use a physical sample approval before production.

Buyer Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Zalson Jewelry a registered jewelry business?
Yes. Zalson Jewelry is operated by Guangzhou Zalson Jewelry Co., Ltd., a Guangzhou-registered limited company established on July 10, 2017 under Unified Social Credit Code 91440101MA59QA5C30. Its self-operated showroom and production site is in Shatou, Panyu District, Guangzhou.
Can buyers order a sample before production?
Yes. Sample work begins after the sample fee and brief are confirmed. A typical sample takes about 7 business days, up to three revisions can be reviewed, and production begins only after physical sample approval. Timing varies with design and plating requirements.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum production order is 30 pieces per style. Send the reference, dimensions, target weight and estimated quantity so materials, stone setting, packaging and the quotation can be reviewed.
Can buyers visit the facility?
Yes. In-person visits can be arranged with at least three days' notice. A recorded video review can also be discussed for overseas buyers who cannot visit Guangzhou.
What is the difference between OEM and ODM at Zalson?
OEM starts with a buyer-owned design or reference. ODM starts with a broader product direction that needs design and CAD development. The actual scope is written into the quote before sampling.
Can a sample be revised?
Yes. Up to three sample revisions can be reviewed. The approved physical sample becomes the key production reference.
